Cucumbers
contain a great amount of water and therefore help regulate body
temperature and body processes by carrying nutrient-rich water
to the cells and carrying waste from the cells. High in
potassium, sulfur, and manganese, cucumbers also are an excellent
source of chlorine and silicon. Silicon is beneficial to
any one suffering from tendinitis. It also rejuvenates muscles
and gives elasticity to dermal cells and so is great for the complexion.
In combination with carrots and lettuce, may promote hair and
